Tanuja is a passionate Yoga instructor and personal trainer who after transforming her own body decided to do the same for others. She has over a decade of experience dealing with clients from all walks of life and has taught in various studios in India and Singapore. Tanuja has worked and achieved results with clients suffering from chronic injuries, Diabetes, thyroid and pre-post-natal conditions.
In the last 10+ years, Tanuja has received numerous certifications from American Council on Exercise (ACE), FIT, ACSM and Reebok among others. Tanuja has been a yoga enthusiast since her childhood and her passion for Yoga propelled her to further attain a certification in the Reiki method of natural healing. She is a 200 RYT certified Yoga trainer and received her formal yoga training from Vyasa Singapore under the guidance of Mr. Manoj Thakur. Currently, she conducts classes on Yoga basics, Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga yoga, Kids Yoga, Pre and Postnatal yoga, Yoga for Menopause, Pranayama and Meditation. Tanuja is also a Matts Pilates instructor.
Her style of yoga combines an emphasis on inner awareness, physical alignment, mindful movement and breathing which helps her students to stay calm and steady throughout the practice. This ultimately maximizes their ability towards achieving a healthy body. Her work involves conducting physical assessments and developing a personalized plans using a combination of Yoga postures, pranayama and meditation. She believes that Yoga helps one achieve peace of mind and harmony within one’s body.
