Biography of Dr HR Nagendra/Dr Nagendra’s Yoga Journey: NASA to VYASA
Dr. Nagendra was a former space scientist with NASA and a consultant with Harvard University before returning to his native India where he evolved from “space engineering” to “human engineering”.
A renowned personality, Dr Nagendra has dedicated his life to the enhancement of human spirit. With his meticulous scientific background, Dr Nagendra has invented many unique Yoga Techniques which have been scientifically proven to be beneficial.
Dr Nagendra is also the designer of the SMET program where he and his team investigated and researched the root cause of stress and how it can be effectively managed and released.
Dr Nagendra is also the Chairperson and Vice-chancellor of S-VYASA, Swami Vivekananda Yoga Anusandhana Samsthana a well-known and internationally recognized Yoga University in Bangalore.
