Yoga in schools is a creative fun filled approach to yoga that is very helpful for children whose bodies are still developing. The use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control.
Kids improve concentration and focus, stimulate their imagination and help to release energy in a fun, safe environment. Yoga helps children see the beauty and light within themselves, thereby boosting their self-confidence, allowing them to feel more comfortable with their bodies, and helping them get in touch with who they are inside. A child who learns yoga, mindfulness and relaxation will be developing essential skills for a lifetime of health and wellness in mind, body and spirit.

Fun, inspirational and playful class encourages self- expression and child’s natural thirst for knowledge. In this imaginative series we combine simple yoga poses with engaging songs, movements, puppets and stories which bring out the creativity while increasing the flexibility of children. Children will also be learning the simple breathing techniques.
This playful class encourages self -expressions as well as building social skills. Children will strengthen their bodies as they learn how to focus through breathing and relaxation techniques through Yoga Sun Salutation and variety of yoga poses. Kids sing, dance, draw and play yoga in this energy releasing class.
This class will improve the strength, flexibility and coordination through various yoga poses. Children will learn how to focus and center themselves with various breathing and visualization techniques. They will practice fun and challenging poses, Sun Salutation, partner and group poses. Lots of yoga games for memory, concentration and coordination. Eye exercises for better sight. Children will be learning breathing exercises which will be good for their overall being.
This class will help in building the strength and flexibility with more physically challenging postures and flowing sequences. Visualization and breathing exercise are used for overall balance and concentration. Eye exercises for better sight. Children will experience emotional balance while building a healthy relationship with their body. Self -esteem and positive self-awareness are encouraged

We can tailor our classes to suit the school’s needs whether it is to run in line with the school’s curriculum, school holiday programme or after school activities.
